Because resolutions suck. No man can finish something that takes 12
months to complete.
Instead, during the 1st month of the year, do 1 new thing every day.
Finally get around to those things you've always wanted to do, like juggle fire.
Maybe you'll discover an untapped love for kung fu, feng shui, or Mariska Hargitay.
Let your friends pick a few things for you to do & see how far outside your comfort zone you can really go.

Where it all began.

Magnus comes up with the idea of Man · new · ary & attempts his first one - solo. Attempting 31 new items in 31 days drew crushing criticism that cut deep. Rather than pushing through, he lost momentum & failed.

After Magnus had Macumber perform his first item, he became hooked. Along with Macumber, this is the 1st year they completed the month successfully. This was also the 1st year Fire Week was created.

After a very successful 2014 Magnus decided to bring in an apprentice, who did pretty good - but still failed.

Last year's 'downline' philosophy was a success that jumped to 10 men & women this year. Sadly, 7 failed to hit all 31 days.

Magnus' kids join Man · new · ary and haven't stopped since. It's their favorite holiday, right behind all the ones with gifts or candy.

After a few quiet seasons, the fire reignites - bigger, louder, and somehow still standing.

2026 will be the first "International Year." Magnus invites his global friends & sets a goal to see how many countries will represent.
